Ore washing is the gravity separation process of dealing with ores that are cemented with clay or that have high mud content and it is most widely used as the preparation work before ore beneficiation to get better separation effect. Different ores will use different washing plants, and the common ore washing equipment include screen machine, mechanical classifier, water ore washing screen, cylinder ore washing plant and trench sand washing plant.
This machine is used for ore washing and screening and it is suitable for dealing with medium washable ores that are easy to be washed. The screen size is 8mm in the smallest and 50mm in the largest and the shaft screen is slantingly installed. This machine has simple structure, easy maintenance and management, stable working condition, but the unit area handling capacity is low, the effective working screen is small, the screening efficiency is low and the screen is easy to wear.
This equipment has similar structure with spiral classifier, and the difference lies that the blade of chute washing plant is discrete paddle shape. It has cutting and washing effect on materials and has strong breaking and scattering function on small mud clump, so that it is suitable for processing ores that are difficult to be washed with medium granularity and high mud content. Chute washing plant has high handling effect and high washing efficiency and is suitable for processing materials smaller than 75mm.
Water ore washing screen is suitable for processing ores that are difficult to be washed with medium granularity and high mud content and it is an ore washing facility that has wide application in various industrial departments.
Such screen machines as grate screen, bar screen, roller screen and vibrating screen can also be used ore washing equipment after being installed with pressure washing pipe and they are suitable for processing ores with medium mud content and weak stickiness.
Spiral classifier can also be called spiral concentrator, spiral washer or ore spiral classifier, and it can be used for removing mud and water from the fine particles discharged from ore washer. Its breaking and scattering function is not strong, so that it is not suitable for processing ores with high mud lump content and high stickiness.
