The stirring tank is also called aggregate mixer. It is commonly divided into two types, namely stirring tank and agitation vat. It is mainly used for stirring material in flotation process of ore dressing plant.

The stirring tank is the indispensable equipment in flotation separating process, and it can be divided into the slurry stirring tank, stirred tank, lifting stirring tank, and medicine stirring tank, etc. The stirring tank is mainly composed of the following parts: the mixing tank, which is a container used to hold the stirring slurry; the spindle components, which is a rotating vertical axis with stirrer (stirring round); the motor and transmission device with the transmission way having belt transmission and gearbox transmission; the auxiliary components, such as support beam, feeding pipe, discharging pipe, loop tube, the baffle on the slurry wall, and so on.
